The league is open to all types of Lurchers (Sighthound X with any other non-sighthound breeds) and Longdogs (Sighthound X Sighthound) including rescue dogs even if the breeding is not known,
as long as it’s Lurchery!
1. The league will run from 1st January 2009 to 31st December 2009 (inclusive).
2. There is an annual fee of £3.00 per dog - cash or cheque payable to P Triggs, address on Contact Us page
3. Points can be gained from KC, Unaffiliated and Ltd shows
4. No inter-club matches count toward the league.
5. No Pay on Day Classes count towards the league.
6. No Teams, Trios, Pairs, count towards the league.
7. Members can join at any time and their points can be back-dated, although if past the cut off date there could be a delay before being added to the Results.
8. It is the handlers’ responsibility to send in their points either by post or email.
9. The league is concerned with the dog’s achievements; therefore you can still claim points even if run by a different handler. Also dogs and their points will be moved through the Grades as they progress when they win out.
10. Members are asked to send in their month’s points by the 10th of the following month in order for the league to be updated promptly! This will then be posted on Agilitynet and the Lurcher League 2 website.
11. All members will be expected to provide an honest record of their results.
12. Final results at the end of 2008 must be received no later than 10th January 2009.
13. There will be separate awards for the following classes -
Trophies if there are enough members/funds and a prize for the runners up?
A Perpetual Trophy or Shield for best overall dog, ‘Champion Lurcher for the Year’.
